San Antonio · Broadway
Breakfast from six. Drive-thru. The same corner it has always been.

The board
Monday to Friday, eleven in the morning until close, with tea. The board is painted on the same wall it always has been — this page only reads it, and knows what day it is.
The menu
Breakfast all day from six, seafood, grills to share and meat by the pound. Everything arrives in clay.

Carnitas in clay, with its consommé. The plate is theirs, photographed in the dining room; the table and the light are retouched.
The plates
Plates the kitchen serves. The table and the light are retouched; what is on the plate is theirs. Dish names are confirmed by the restaurant.
The room

The chair backs at the bar tell the whole story of tequila in three pictures: the agave field, the jimador in white with his red sash, and the piñas stacked in the brick oven. Nobody ordered these out of a catalogue.
Above the dining room hangs a tin sun with a face. This site’s status dot comes from it, and it is why the section marks are arcs and not boxes. Every shape here came from something inside that building.
Extraction, not decoration
The corner
Between Bitters and Loop 410, on the oak-tree side. Its own parking lot and a drive-thru window.
